Welcome to Your PTA's Website!

Your PTA is committed to building a strong collaboration between parents/guardians, teachers, students, and school administration.  This past year, through your involvement, we contributed much to our tri-lingual school community.

  We are about much more than fundraising!

We are about building a community, celebrating the diversity of our cultures through events such as:

International Food Festival:  over 500 participants and food booths representing over 10 countries/regions, entirely manned by parent/guardian volunteers.

Hosting famed African American aviator Barrington Irving as part of our Black History Month Celebration
Festa Junina: a traditional Brazilian folk festival celebrating the harvest.

We are about partnering with teachers & administration to maximize our already strong academic program:

We Funded “Mad Science” presentation for entire 5th grade...

Hosted a parent presentation where the Science curriculum was discussed with attending parents...

Purchased string instruments to enhance your Music Program, sponsored the Holiday Show and funded the awards given to your children at the Grading Period Assemblies

and

Provided thousands of dollars through teacher grants and classroom enhancement funding to help teachers get needed resources.

We are about implementing programs that instill good values and nurturing the safety and well being of our kids.

“Green Team” Program, everything from setting up recycling programs for paper and electronics, creating the term “Green Ranger” for our kids, encouraging conservation efforts,

and

Sponsoring our incredible “Earth Day” event.

We are Partnering with the administration to fund and implement additional security around the school for drop off and pick up hours

and

The Funding “Student of the Month” recognition program that rewards the PYP attitudes.
